Need some info on Redbone Bloodlines...

CAN YOU BELIEVE IT??? WE'RE GETTING A REDBONE!!!

Quincy and I are picking up our Redbone puppy this weekend!

I'm really excited about him. He's 12 weeks old, and he's soooo cute!

OK. The reason why we are getting this pup is this. We have hunted with it's mother--Susie for nearly 4 years. She is a jam up dog, needs 4th to finish out to NTCH. She is awesome.

We have hunted with Julie, which is out of the sire--Duke for nearly 3 years. She would be hard to beat in any hunt if she had a mouth. She got some kind of infection when she was little that about ruined her voice.

We have also hunted with 2 more pups out of Susie that are great coon dogs.

Now, my question is this: I dont know anything about Redbone bloodlines, except Brandy.

Susie--the mother--is direct out of Taylor's Guitar, and a female named Stepp's Tree Talking Sally, which goes back to Machine Gun Jack, I think.

Duke--the sire--is direct out of Green'e Hillbilly Brandy/High Scoring Redbone of 1997 world hunt. Brandy goes back to Winchester's Zac and Winchester's Jane.

Can anyone give me any info on any of these dogs that I have mentioned. We have hunted with Brandy bred dogs for years.

We are so excited about this puppy!

Not sure what kind of info your looking for but the mother's top side has some awsome hounds in her pedigree.Taylor's Guitar and Machine Gun Jack have produced a lot of good hounds. The Winchester hounds in the sire's pedigree have also been around a long while and suit a lot of folks. So I would say your pup has the right stuff in his pedigree to potientally make a good hound but as you know a lot will depend on you as the trainer to bring it out.

He's a very smart pup...

He'll come when you call him...he's lead broke...

I just know what some of the dogs out of both sides of the bloodlines are doing, and have done.

I'm really excited! I've never had a Redbone before!

He's so pretty, and rolly polly.

Christy Mr. Royce Taylor owned Taylors Pride which Gutior was off from he also owned Winchesters Jane when she was a pup. Mr. Taylor has bred and hunted this line of dogs for a long time . He lives in Mississippi you can get his phone or email numbers from the pkc board. This is a good solid stock of coon dogs and I hope your pup turns out to be a very good dog for you. I have a older nt. champion female that is out of Pride that I really like. Nothing fancy about her she just gets the job done.
