Registration for Juniors

Hi! I was just wondering if I could register my Shih-tzu with the UKC since I want to show in Juniors. At the moment she is registered with the continental kennal club. We got her from the shelter a year ago. She is neutered.
Thank you.

Hi,

I don't think you could permanently register her with the UKC because I don't believe the UKC recognizes that registry.

You could get a limited privelage number though. The dog can compete in Junior Showmanship and performance events like agility and obedience. The dog has to be neutered, which isn't a problem for you. Go to the dog events page and click on the FORMS link. You can download the form there and send it in. I think the fee is $25, but it could have changed.

Good Luck!

Julia
