Was wondering if you are still around. Have not heard from you in a while. How is the Plott gyp doing.

Plott gyp
She (Candy), the one we talked about you starting, is ready to DO something in the coondog department! And the one I have from Christina & Jeff Farthing (Nipper) is hell on wheels - ready to tackle anything & everything. She has a tug that she carries everywhere & a super attitude. Wish you lived closer so we could do some tracking with her. The Sheriff's Dept. could sure use her. I just got a new B&T male, 15 mos. old. He's been hunted, (5 mos.) but his former owner says he's more of a tree dog than a track dog & that's how he ended up in MY kennel. I've got him behaving like a show dog (gaiting & on the bench) but I need to take him to the woods to see if he'll hunt At ALL. But I'm going to wait a little longer for him to bond with me. I've only had him for 6 days.

Sky, how are the 2 females doing? Have you showed Jackie yet? Just checking on them. I have Ellie Bred to Thunder again, if you see anyone wanting any pups.....good luck with them....Jason

Candy is ready to go to the woods. The weather is now decent. You'll be getting something in the mail from me regarding her - it's a GOOD thing. Spice, the one you retrieved from the guy who didn't socialize her is MUCH better and more confident but she was running up & down in the kennel like a caged wild animal so she's now outside in a pen (100' X 50') with her sister & a B&T gyp & she's playing with them happily. Both gyps are solid muscle, happy & friendly. Spice gaits very well & stands on the bench like a pro - until someone approaches the bench. I don't know if I'll EVER be able to show her because of this - but time will tell. She's still a pup in many ways. I'd EVENTUALLY like to breed Spice to GR CH Skyplott Teddybear, a grandson of Steve Fielder's Roper dog. Candy will be shown as soon as I get her paperwork from the other registry completed. She looks GREAT on the bench & I hope she'll be a coondog too. Will send you pics soon.
