APBT books?

Are you going to open the books again for APBTs? Or maybe a suggestion that you only open the books for AKC registered dogs. If yes to these when?

I enjoyed showing UKC and having dual registered grand champion dogs. But my last litter was AKC only due to the sire not being UKC registered. I have some really nice dogs that could do really well in UKC, but you closed the books. Now you are not making any extra money on registration fees, and the local clubs aren't making any money due to no entries.

Please consider opening the books to just AKC dogs.

At this time we have no word as to if or when single registration for this breed is going to open.

Not accepting AKC dogs is one thing, but right now they are telling me they wont even single register an APBT that has two 'PR' UKC registered parents. I have no idea how that policy makes any sense. I occasionally choose to not register entire litters. I wait until they are old enough to determine if they are brood quality and then single register those select dogs only. Now they are saying that anything over 1 year cannot be registered at all even if it comes from UKC Sire and UKC dam, both. UKC has been the only registry I have used for years, but if they won't register the offspring of their own dogs, I may have to transfer everything over to ADBA...
