trouble w/ dc30 collar

lost communication w/ dc30 while hunting.removed collar from dog list and tried to add it back with no luck.220 says cant communicate with dog unit.collar does turn on and does charge up.it blinks 1 long blink then 1 short blink.hoping maybe someone has had this trouble and has some advice.i know what garmin will tell me.thanks for reading and thanks in advance for any help.

Protect your telescoping Garmin Antenna

try unhooking the battery for about 20 minutes and then hooking it back up. Believe it or not I have "fixed" several this way and it is one of the things the Garmin tech will ask you to do if you call in. Much like your computer, the collars can "lock up" and just need to be disconnected for bit to get lined back out. Best of luck, Casey

yes unplugged battery for about 30 min.unable to change id # bcuz 220 wont link up to dc30.still searching

look in the manual and try master reset.
