2012 UKC Youth Nationals Information
The excitement of summer break for our youth hunters is finally here!
The UKC Youth Nationals will also be here before we know it. Kids, it's never too early to start thinking about getting your dogs ready for it. And equally as important, getting yourself in good tune with hound so you'll be ready and very capable of calling your hound when it counts.
Miscalling a dog can really hurt your chances very quickly in competition. The good experienced handlers will tell you that; knowing your dogs' every bark and eliminating handler error are two key factors when it comes to bettering your odds of winning a cast.
So congratulations on another year of education. Enjoy your summer break and have fun with your coonhounds, or whatever special plans you may have. We hope that one of your plans includes coming to Rochester, Indiana for the 2012 UKC Youth Nationals. We'd love to see you there!

Also, any association, club, kennel or individual interested in contributing to this special event; your generous donation of $65 would be greatly appreciated. These donations will go towards a Brand new Hunting Light from Nite Light Company. We will start a listing right here on the message board with a complete listing of donors as they come in. Your donated light will be given away with your name on it at the Nationals.
A special thanks to our first donor!
UKC Field Representative Lloyd Culpepper of Birmingham, Alabama

We will be giving away at least 36 of these lights to the youths placing in all three separate nite hunts at the Youth Nationals. Six of which will go the handlers who win their category in the bench show (Registered Best of Show, Champion and Grand Champion males and females).
