feedsrs

i hunted on a cast where we turned dogs down 4 wheeler paths straight at feeder barrels. We treed several coon about 5 feet from the feeder and most of the drops were 10mins or less and the scores were nice to talk about but is this coon hunting.I have a blue heeler that could have treed these coon,if these dogs had to go hunt for a coon i wonder what kinda scores they would have.I don't think feeders should be used in the hunts what do you think.

sore subject...feeders!

this subject has been argued for years......is it fare that 4 or 5 cast go hunting in a spot without and then a cast comes in hunting feeders and blows them out of the water....my answer on this is no especially if it was a big breed hunt like walker days but then here in montana where coon poplulation is low but cattle numbers are high and hunting spots are tough to get access to some guys put out feeders to keep the coon coming to an area they have access to. You'll get a hundrd reasons for and against this one...
