How many of yall have used Dog Forte by Black Gold? Why did you use it and what kind of results did you see? How did you dose it?

I use it from time to time, mainly right before a hunt to give my dog that extra boost. I mix it in with his water in a water jug.. I can tell alittle difference in my dogs output.

OOOoooWwiiiee ! I bet them athaletes going after that next.
Vertex and rf-1 are better.
Using it once in a while or a few times before a hunt is almost a waste. Add any supplement to a conditioning program and you will see far greater results.

we have used it with good results on a couple of females that quit eating right after being bred and also after the pups are born. we don't give nearly as much as the label says, just sprinkle a teaspoon or so on top of their feed.

I've used it in several different situations and have got good results. Tried it on some of our longer running deer dogs on extended weekends at the club, dogs that had gotten down a little for any reason, picky eaters, and dogs that I've acquired that needed more weight. Like Peggi, I didn't dose according to the directions on the label, just sprinkled a tablespoon or so over their feed.
Even the pickiest eaters I've had will generally clean their bowls when they get Forte (or almost), and it will definitely put weight on a dog that needs it. I did notice at least a small increase in energy, but most of the dogs I've used it on have been high energy dogs to begin with. Now that some of our deer dogs are seniors, I think I'll be using it more regularly on them during season. As already mentioned, you really have to use it regularly for awhile to see a big difference.
