I was just wondering

I was a Huey crewchief in the Army for 3 yrs. and had all intentions of goin to school to get my A&P when I got out.Buuuut,I met a gal,got married, had a kid and so on and so forth.Anyway,I worked construction for nearly 30 yrs. and broke my back 10 yrs. ago in a work-related accident. My doctors and workmens comp kept tellin me I better change occupations or I was gonna screw-up my spinal fusion.Well, after all these years,I decided to go to school to get my A&P.I graduate in Sept.Hopefully,by the end of October,I'll have my A&P Certificate.I have no idea where I'll be after I get it,but I'm lookin' forward to a better future than what I had. Thanks guys.

Thank you so much

I honestly think I will too.I loved it when I was in the service. My only regret is that I didn't pursue it earlier in life.Heck, maybe with me injuring my back-----it may have been a God-send.Who knows. All I know is that I'm certainly lookin' forward to it for sure. Thanks again. And I'll try to keep you posted on my progress.

I think you will enjoy the change. I worked on C-130s for several years, took the written part of the A & P, but like you life took me down a different path. I never did follow up with the A & P practical. Good luck with you new career.

Andy,

that's great. The class I'm takin' now is Metallic Structures.Sounds pretty interesting. Also sounds like you got a pretty good job.I understand Gulfstream is a pretty good company to work for.
