WORST!!!

ALL- anything with NO legs on it needs to die. At least, the rattlers around here let you know they're around. Take care, Ron.

I killed two cottonmouths under one tree last night those will get you when your eyes are in the tree. The two I killed were full grown and had I looked I'm sure I could have killed more, a dog leash is my weapon of choice against any kind of snake! We have a lot of snakes here because we have a bunch of sloughs with fresh water running into them! Keep your eyes open don't get bit I love to hunt but I don't want to hear of any of you getting bit!

John,I hunt the same kinda terrain 'round here.It almost makes ya wish you had 3 pairs of eyes instead of one sometimes.I rely on my nose as much as my eyes though too.If you know what to sniff for, that helps sometimes more than your eyes.HATE THEM COTTONMOUTHS!!!!!!

When you learn that musky smell you never forget it and that is a fact a rattler has a smell too but he has to be disturbed before it is prevalent it is kind of like a soured cucumber and he is mad if you smell it!

I picked up a pile of leaves and old pine straw that I raked out from under shrubs in the yard, and a little copper head fell out on my feet.

I've been seeing a big black and yellow king snake hanging out around my house the last few days.

i haven't seen a poisonous snake yet this year but i'm looking for them. i saw 30 last year and hope to make it 50 this year. you can expect to find water mocisins near water but those copper heads and rattlers can be any and everywhere.
