Anyone out there drag race? Thinking about putting a 5.4l cast iron block in my 01 mustang gt.

I need more hp plus a cast iron block is cheaper and stronger,gonna turbo it out. Any better ideas? New to the game!

go over on 4m.net look around on used equipment you can find all
the hp you can hook.

Get the center of gravity up , and the roll center down , and it'll wind up on the rear end anyways.

track get yourself the lightest car and the bigest cu. inch motor you can afford,try acrate motor ready too bolt in and all ready dynoed if you want to go fast this will save time and money, or call the guys in texas if you have alot of money these guys can fiy you up,reher and morrison this is a fun thing to do but if you get that bug sometimes dogs will have to take a back seat. i have a 66 corvette that run mids nines,the chevs. willcost lest money to run ok good luck friend.

Thanks,i got that bug and don't want any tickets for street racing. You say chev.is the best way to go,i"m thinking about buying a svt cobra.
