BE SURE AND TAKE IT'S COLLAR OFF IF YOU HAVEN'T ALLREADY . dogs hardly ever die from the actual bite it's normally a secondary infection that gets them keep it on antibiotics for a few day and all should be well .

Plenty of bacon grease and a few raw eggs.
Pope Barry leaves ground to juice and sweet milk works to.

make sure hes got a cool place to lay in with plenty of water around. ive had alot of dogs bitten by copperheads and this is what i do. i had a cur dog bit on the neck one time and thank goodness i always kept his collar real loose and he was able to make it back to me, if i kept his collar snuged i dont know for sure if he could have made it back.

There was an old timer that packed a cattle prod in his truck and when his dogs would get bit he would stick the prod in the phang holes and zap .........Most of the time he would hunt them the next night...

Bacon grease, egg, milk warmed on the stove feed it to him, turpentine up over the bite to pull infection out ( maybe to late for this) we had a golden lab bit once and this is what we did and he was fine. Good luck with your rotti.
