would been a bad break!!

Young made a tree tonite...i started shinning and realized i could hear a coon squalling! Couldnt find a coon on the outside but found a couple well worn holes and the squalling was clearly coming out of the holes! Sounded like a litter of younguns..i squalled a bit and couldnt get mom to look or come out...

I petted the dog and just laughed...would been one of the most painful circles to put on a card knowing the coon was 110% in that tree...but cant plus what you cant see.....might could have hushed the dog up and squalled more and maybe seen it...i wasnt that worried about it i knew it was there and rather fire the youngun up and let him know he done good and let him tree...

Just had to laugh....ive been to thousands of trees in my near 20 years of running dogs and never remember hearing them in the tree...sure sounded like kittens in there...

I have stuck my ear up to a hollow tree and tap on it and hear someting scratching around in it. LOL

Watched my buddy put a nitech win on a dog a few years back...last tree..hunt was over...had a hole at the bottom justtttt big enough to get your head in..and i mean just enough room..buddy stuck his head in and said plus him up! Naturally the judge wanted to see it...think it was down to them 2 dogs and judges dog wasnt there and wasnt treed.....took him a while but he finally seen it....

I stuck my head in and couldnt believe the judge was trying not to see it...tail was about in my mouth! Thats when i learned not everyone is fair and honest in the hunts! Lol.
