Your gonna need the easy entry card or the dogs ukc number. Then your gonna need the sires registered name, dams registered name and the originals owners information. Their is a form you have to print off and send in but the papers will then go to the original owner, he has to sign them and then you send them off again and get them back in your name..........Its A Pain In The Butt... I'm kinda having to do the same thing with a dog and probably gonna have to do it with a puppy. Seems UKC has lost a set of papers I sent in 2 months ago. I'm gonna have to get a hold of the owner, get the parents names & numbers, print off the same form you need and see if they can get it right this time.. Its not gonna cost me anything but just aggravation... Looks like to me if they processed the puppy paper like they said, they could just send me another set since they lost them but oh no, I got to send in a form and wait..........They Need To Tighten Up !!!

contact ukc....

tell them your problem. see if they can help locate previous owner. you said you were having touble contacting...maybe they have moved? you could also try writing letter to former owner. or if not too far? go visit. but i would think someone could be of assistance. good luck!
