Awwhhh... This was sweet to see!

I was indeed off for a few days staying with Mum in Boston. She had cornea transplant and is 92 now... so I was with her during and after the surgery, then another sister took over for a couple days. She is a remarkable woman and back to herself(still nearly completely blind)... doing all her own eyedrops etc....

Thanks so much for thinking of me Matty G!

Bob and I are still here... only one "coonhound" left (lol) the odd akc BnT... but still totally comitted to this site!

I am indeed on the sweet tea thread any day I am on here and since I've befriended all those WONDERFUL people I always make sure to let them know if I'll be gone for any period of time....

PS... Gotta mention that my wonderful husband Bob is also a BIG part of bigcastledawgs! He may not post on here except thru MY typing(slow as mollases he is...

) but I read him ALL the important stuff, email him links to pix etc... and he is always there in thoughts and prayers for all who need em. If it weren't for him... I don't know where I'd be.... Surely not on here. As kids both Bob and I followed the same great coonhounds thru the MA woods at the horsecamp where we met.... never did hunt together till we got to go with a friend on here...and that was like HEAVEN!

Someday we'll get to do it again too I'm Sure!
