striker dogs

Hi : I am a newbie here .Many moons ago I was in the coon hunting world. Maybe some of you older guys remember "The Dannyboy Memorial"Trial in Lancaster County PA. That meet was named after my Uncles Best dog.
I have a question about striker dogs.What is your favorite breed for a striker hound . I am speaking out of the bed of the truck.
