A dog is never to old to start you just have to start like it is 6 months old.
Start her
i started one at 16 months old by the time she was 2 she was a real nice dog, i like the ones others give up on lol
in my experiance sometimes those are the best ones to get. you get um cheap and they are still perfectly fine and ready to start if they honestly havent been messed with
She might still not be old enough to start. I won't start a pup till it loads its ownself in the box. LOL
Well i made her a drag today she done real good trailed and treed it hard

I start mine on their first b day. and have had a lot of luck this way.
all dogs are different. the age to start one varies. depends on each young dog. how mentally mature they are. it shouldn't take long to start your dog. if she hasn't been messed with. perfect age to pour it on a dog. she should take right off. you will know in a month with hunting if she's a keeper or not.
