Sunburst Eagle 3-B feedback
My dad wants to order one of these lights or the 28v from bright eyes w/ the LED. Obviously the bright eyes will be brighter but I wanna know how the Sunburst holds up from people who have them.
Reply if you have one of these lights and wanna share the good, bad and ugly
I still have an old style Eagle. I haven't worn it since the week after 9-11. I got pulled for a brake light and stepped out of the truck wearing that get up with the suspenders and switches and coiled wire going to the spotlight. The cop thought I was a suicide bomber and went for his gun. Thank goodness he fainted before he got it out.

light
I have hunted with with Sunburst lights since the mid 80,s.I still got the old aluminum case with the 12 volt motorcycle battery,In 1996 I bought my first Eagle 2+2, I had it rebuilt a time or two. I am using a Eagle 2+2 now.I like this light because it is as dependable as any light ever made, and I realy like the flip head piece.I hunt many nights alone and I feel confident with the Eagle, I have not tried the Eagle 111 or the Eagle 111B.The old Eagle is heavier than the new lights but I wont trade dependability over comfort...jmo
