OT...Turkey Hunting!

Never was much of a turkey hunter but I seem to make myself go because I love to eat em.This was outside my front door this morning.Good luck to everybody.

Our season has been off by 2 weeks the last several seasons and I dont know why they havnt changed it yet.It dont come in till April the 14th.

our season doesnt come in until april 23, they have been strutting and gobbling for a month, i think the dnr does this **** on purpose, they are pretty much done by the time season get here. May have to start my own season if they dont do something.

Mine doesn't start till the 23rd.
Runs for 2 weeks.
Then another season runs for 3 weeks after that.
I enjoy it so much , I take friends and hunt bothe seasons.
Last year , we killed the first one on the first day of the first season. And killed the last one on the last weekend of the second one.
Don't matter to me. Hunting is alot better than sitting on the couch !

Yeah they are WAY to many here and right now is the time to be in the woods and really enjoy what Turkey hunting is all about.Its no fun just sitting in the woods when they are on lockdown just hoping one passes by.

LOL.We were treed the other night when my buddy just happened to look over to the next tree over and in the skyline noticed this Gobbler still on roost.Not good quality with an Iphone zoomed in.

Our season is a little over 2 Weeks away.

Please quit talking about it and posting pics like that first one. I am trying not to think about it..

Its bad enough that I can't drive down the road without seeing a strutter.

Yeah that is funny seein them up in the tree like that! I know my dog was technically trashin but i didnt care she can tree me turkeys any time!
