Scoreing ?

A,B,C and D struck in.A and C catch coon ,cast gets there in time to save coon ,leash dogs and while walking away agree to plus strike points.as they are walking away, dog B tracks in and starts woolin the half dead coon, Dog B is handled at coon. How would you score B?

I suppose you would plus his strike points also. It wasn't a previously scored tree.

If dog catches coon, strike points only
quoted from official ukc rules this is all it says about when coon is caught since you dont time on a caught coon you cant say a dog came in too late jmo

Thanks for the answers.I don't have an Advisor and was wondering if maybe it was in there. The only rule I found was the same as Buffaloriver.

Dogs can keep "catching" the same coon all cast long and keep recieving plus strike points as long as the coon isn't dead. If the coon was dead then sure it would be deleted.

Dog b would be plussed on his strike as slong as he was struck in and seen by the cought coon.

Amazing how even giving an exact page with an identical scenario people can still dismiss ukc's interpretation.

Travis, I would have answered the same as Hoosier until you referenced the Advisor page number, looked it up and that settles that.

I don't have a advisor. What's it say? What if that coon hobbled on up a tree right there and dog treed on it?
