Garmin collar problem

I'm having trouble with charging my collar when I first plug it in it'll charge for about 5 minutes then go off unplug it plug it back up light will stay on maybe 30 seconds. The collar hasn't been used much but will lose a bar after 1 hr. hunting I don't think the charger and collar is making a good connection. anybody else have this problem?

had one doing the same... needed new battery.

I had to dis-connect the battery and re-connect. It worked like a charm. All is good for now!
