Symptoms of Lymes disease

My female has been actin a little off the last couple days. Hunted her tuesday night and she slicked on a real nice long track. Which she never does. She was kinda slow yesterday and now today she could hardly get up and she won't eat. Her hind end seems real week and one of her front legs seems pretty tender. Not sure what is wrong. Thinking maybe lymes but don't know.

thats sounds like it but could be anything. i would take her to a vet. dont wait for someone on here to play vet for you.

Could be coin paralysis also need to get to vet. If a guy pops doxycyclene into their dogs once and even twice a month he can prevent his chances of getting tick related diseases

coon hound paralysis?

it attacks the spine and will make the rear not work.i get her to a vet asap.take urine and stool sample with you.have them draw blood too.
had to send my females "samples" to msu.to find out she had 2 out of the 3 tick diseases.she was border line on lyme.
now she's anemic{spelling}and
all the anti-biotics she was on i think made her lose a little nose power.she was always 1st strike, and could burn a track.just seems to not quite have it anymore.still better than anything i've owned.

one of my dogs had this several years ago my vet 80 yrs old took one look at him and knew what it was I had no clue just went out to feed him and he wouldnt get up when i got him up he was limping like something was wrong with his legs took him to vet they gave him remadyl and doxi he was much better in a couple days had my cousin's dog do the same thing that year she gave him doxicyclone and he was fine in a few days too

The thing with Lymes disease is a vet can cure the dog. But the cure has a devastating effect on the dogs kidneys. I had a cracker-jack turkey dog that got lymes desease, the treatment put the dog out of commsion for four months. Two years later the d ogs kidneys completely shut down and had to be put to sleep.

Will any of these tick diseases mess with a dogs direction of smell and etc?
