My fellow coonhunters

Im a youth hunter and getting ready to go to school and im having a tough time deciding between which type of dog i would like to have. I have narrowed it down to either Black snd Tan or a Leopard Hound. I have never owned or hunted with either one. So i would like to know which would you all choose and why?

NEITHER ...GET TO CLASS YOU GOT GIRLS TO CHASE AND DO YOUR HOMEWORK...LOL...

I'm gonna agree on neither! But only cuz you need an English, that's where it's at!

I have two English i trained pretty well and almost have them finished but my dad wants to keep them at home with him lol

leopards definately

I own Leopards and they are quite possibly the best dogs alive not just coonhounds. Mine have the drive of a walker, the mouth of a big bawl bluetick, and handles like a border collie. There is a line to suit anyone but the most important thing is they hunt FOR you not for them.

I like both breeds of hounds but i have never hunted with either breed.

Id go with a walker im with the other guy ive hunted with about every breed that kept me out all night they all got good dogs and they all have junk dogs

Hunt what you enjoy.

There are good solid coodogs in every breed out there. It is all about what catches your eye and what just seems right to have on the end of your lead strap.

I WOULD GO WITH WALKER MYSELF BUT BLACK DOGS ARE A GOOD CHOICE IF YOU GET A GOOD 1

i'd get a Leopard dog. pretty fun little dogs to hunt. mcdill and the camo dogs have some good ones you may want to check out.
