can punctuation be used on papers

I am getting ready to send my pups papers off and I am wanting to change her name up. Its lockdown Isabelle and I was wondering can I change it to hi-tech hickory Isabelle with the dash or if it would have to be hi tech hickory Isabelle. Thanks in advance for any help

You can use a dash.
