strained voice

10m old with great deep voice has again bark himself down. he did this at 3-4 mon too down to a whisper. it came back and loud and hard. now he squeaking when he barks. I dont want to keep a bark collar on him all the time either. I was wondering if the honey/lemon treatment will work for strained vocals? thanks

I brought him inside hoping that would help, but now he looks out the window and sees stuff. so, now he's wearing a bark collar.....and quiet. only hear the whimper of puppies. thanks

Give him prednisone - He probably has inflamed vocal chords . Your local vet can hook You up . They recover in 4 to 5 days

what dosage & how often? He weighs about 60#. i have some at home. he likes the hone/lemon mix just needs more honey in it!

50ml 1per day for week then 1i every other day for 5 pills

well the bark collar ant always good because when he barks something hurts him. and he dont know why or what. but if you put a shock collar on him and go inside or what ever when he starts to bark step out and tell him to shut up and then shock him. every time he does it in the lot or on the chain you should repeat the same thing tell him to shut up then shock. he will learn that you dont want him to do that.so then you want half to worry about him losing his voice. and it wont hurt him as far as his opening on a track or tree.but he will know that barking in the lot or on the chain is a no.
