Swamp People

Another thread got me to thinkin about Swamp People. I love the folks on the show as well as love watching it!! So anyone on here personally know any of them folks on that show?

I was at a Lexus dealership last week in Louisiana where Troy buys his cars. They told me Troy is just like he is on the show except he's a millionaire. They said he owns the processors in the area. I asked if they meant the gator processors and they said he owns ALL the processors, gator, fish, crawfish and he has also owns the distributors. Not sure if it's true, that's what I was told.

I love the show, Troy is king and liz is one tough women. Not crazy about the jay Paul group for some reason, I would prolly drink a beer or 2 with tommy but his step dads gator dance was bad bad. I think willy is a one crazy dude. I really like him, seems like a hard worker and cajun threw and threw. I seen in bloodlines that last years guy terrel hunts X dogs, he has one out of insane X and is seen at local hunts from time to time.

i watch it some i like to watch lizzard lick towing turtle man but theres just to many reality shows on for this ole country boy so i dont watch alot of tv my wife likes to watch csi and all those other shows like that so i go in the back bedroom and watch western channel or geo wild try to find something that has wildlife in it

I watch the show, ain't bad. I watch the logging show, I watched the moonshine liquor show, and I have been watching the medical marijuana show. I reckon you could put them all together for a big party show.

When are they going to have a coonhunt show?

I like AX men also but it seems like it's starting to get staged alittle to much with all the fake fighting and arguments. I bet Shelby's one tough cookie...at least a crazy one.

DVR runs for 2 hours straight on Thursday nights. Swamp People, and then Mudcats. I'm addicted to both of those shows. I'd love the opportunity to go down and tag along gator hunting someday.

I know Terral Evans personally. He hunts walker dogs and uses our Laser Pro light. He has left Swamp People to come with a new show next season. He will do some coon hunting with kids and other things like grabbing catfish. He is going to catch some crockadiles but says he is not as young as he use to be and doesn't move as fast.

They had Bruce and his dog at a outdoor store last weekend about 30 minutes north of me in Adel,Ga but i did'nt get up there.
Swamp people is one of my favorite shows but I really like the Lizard Lick Towing show from North Carolina on Tru tv. Those 2 are nuts too.

Willy is my favorite. I could not believe it when he killed that gator with his pocket knife. He has been snake bit, gator bit and shot twice by his own daddy and still he keeps at it. They need to call him Timex.

I was hooked from the first episode of Season 1. A few observations:

1. Troy (and Clint) are THE KING of the swamp. Hands down, no discussion. Liz is THE QUEEN.

2. Quite frankly Glen and Mitchell scare me. I hear the banjo from Deliverance every time I see those morons. I don't even want to know what goes on at their cabin when the camera is off. I wouldn't want to be the camera guy assigned to them.

3. Willie needs to ditch his old man. Willie does 99% of the work and the old man Jr. just screams at him when he isn't too busy shooting him. Willie would be 3x better running his own rig.

4. Bruce's dog Tyler was kind of neat to start with but he seems to be a drama queen now. Tyler was lost for a few days last year, Tyler needs a moonpie, Tyler needs a fan, Tyler jumped out of the boat........... leave the POS at home Bruce!

5. Trapper Joe needs to dump Tommy. For pete's sake he forgot the dang guns last year and even if he remembers the gun he never has it loaded. Send Tommy to Jr.'s boat and and Willie to Joe's boat. Joe and Willie could give Troy/Clint a run for their money.

6. Not sure what to make of R.J. and Jay Paul. Don't know if they are the real deal or pretty boy muscle geeks that are just full of themselves.

I definitely have a lot of respect for Liz. If I were to ever have a chance to hunt with someone off the show, I think it would probably be her. Not only because she's good at what she does, but I would probably feel safest with her, LOL!

I have mixed feelings about R.J. and Jay Paul as well. They may be pretty tough, but I feel like I'm watching Jersey Shore every time they open their mouths.
