Keep it coming, give some specifics

Posted by on 03-03-2012 04:47 PM:

.

Here are my specifics.
It depends on your leg size and the amount you hunt.
If you have normal size legs and don't hunt but a couple nights a week the Muck Wetland or Muck Master are very comfortable and excellent boots. Big Calfs 18+ inches are tight in a muck boot. Hard hunting will wear out the heels. Now the bama sock will help that but you need the boots a size larger in most cases.

Now if you have big Calfs the Lacrosse Mud Lite is the way to go. I really backed off on boot sales last year due to problems Lacrosse was having but I think they have the problem solved with the Mud Lite and that is the boot I wear and is a good boot.

Alpha Burly lite is a better boot. Mudlite boots have no traction on a hillside, slickest boot I have ever worn.

If you like the mudlite boots features but not the grip take a look at the Alpha Lite

Alpha Lite

burly air grip if you need a lot of grip here you go but these boots are just old school rubber will last a long time but there not Nikes. I know a guy this is all he wares says they last no holes = dry feet, and they keep me on my feet= dry backside.

Traction is really not an issue for me, I hunt flat ground with no hills, Biggest question I want answered is comfort and durability.

Posted by Jeremiah Howell on 03-03-2012 07:45 PM:

Very durable. I have had a pair for three months now and they show very litttle wear. Still water proof. One of the most comfortable boots I have worn. By the way mine get worn 6 nights a week. Great boot.
