Sad Hunt

Last night out hunting my 78yrs old friend lost both of his Walker coon hounds. They both got hit by a car. When we found them my heart went out to him. He will have to start over with young pups that he owns.

That is very sad I hope he can put his time in those pups and continue to enjoy the sport but I am sure loosing two dogs on the same night is quite a blow
may the dogs R.I.P.

i know your friend is heartbroken and i would be too. loosing two trained dogs is hard but knowing they were hit and killed on the road is so much more tragic. i share in his pain.

Sorry for the lost of your friends dogs. Wow 78 and still at it. I hope his health is good and he can continue with his pups .

That sure is sad but when we have good dogs and plan to keep them until they die I would rather see them go doing what they were bred for then get sick or die of some illness of getting old that is hard to watch. White line fever makes for a rough night but at least they weren't lost or stolen. It's always hard to let go of a good one, two in one night is really sad.

Sounds like a similar thing that happened to me. Had two good English dogs out one night during the rut and the coon took em across the interstate. The coon made it. The dogs didn't
