New Garmin collars?

I heard today Garmin was gonna be putting out a collar that has changeable batteries like tracking collars. Is this true or does anybody know?

Just something one of the guys I run coyote hounds with said he had heard, probably nothing to it I'm sure. He was fixin to order a new Garmin system and was told somewhere they were working on these and he was gonna wait on ordering if they are.

I think Garmin got it backwards..The collars should of had changeable batteries ,and the Handheld should be rechargeable.. I bring my Handheld in the house every night ...wish i could leave the stinking collars outside.

I use one of the rubbermaid storage boxes to store my collars inside. Really makes the batteries last a lot longer than storing them in the dogbox. I have 2 DC-30's I bought when they first came out still with the factory battery and they still last all night and have plenty charge left in the morning.
