San Antonio TX

Going to take a family vacation in fall of 2012. Just looking for stuff to do? Farms/ranches, Parks, Food, Kid stuff, Hog hunt Any suggestions anyone from the area?

River Walk and Alamo.

You MUST take a short drive out to Driftwood, TX to eat at the Salt Lick. This place is featured all the time on Food Network and Travel Channel and will be the best BBQ you have ever eaten! Seriously!

Austin is a short drive as well with lots of live music. I believe there is a Cabelas between San Antonio and Austin too.
