Thanks Guys

Those who know me know I like dancing and all that good stuff and I put the dogs on the back burner for a while and didn't hit the hunts much at all this past year.
I will be there more this year to finish these fine males to Grand.

I have singled all my dogs out one on one and I can't ask for a better job in the woods.
I'm very proud of what I got in the pen right now.

Thanks for all you have done for Sounder and Sister. And all the rest of my dogs. Letting them run loose has done them a world of good.
I appreciate all you have done for me in the past and future. Your a hell of a trainer and your little chow female know how to get those pups up and going.

Had a fun hunt

Not much was moving well. We got a coon treed on the outside then we treed a hole in the ground
I hunted Sounder , Hank and Slug and Kelly and Phil hunted RJ.

Hanks little Kelly female picked a tree she thought she had the coon but it was not there.

Those Speed pups are going to tree for sure.

I went hunting close to 9 pm got home at midnight. Magic treed 3 singles and he also pulled one out of a hole. It was tough tracks but he had the grease on the limb. Very bright outside didn't need a light to walk.
Very good single dog work tonight!

Great job Breathless Blue Magic. I say it all the time I'm not out to tree the moon. If a coon will walk I have dogs that can tree it. If he is just sitting up sleeping I have dogs that can tree those as well.
I'm not happy treeing in holes but what can you do when they drag them out and kill them.

Moon is full

Coons are walking, and the dogs are talking, I love this time of year it lets you know what type of dogs you really have.

rut season should be in full affect and there should start to be some great looooong races with the meat on the end.

Just got home for a moon light walk with Sounder

First track Sounder went 525 yards on a feed track bang got treed in the middle of evergreen trees with on small black oak he had huge boar coon.

Next drop in the same woods he treed on a den tree.

Third drop I walked a little before turning him loose he went in 300 yards no track just fell treed had two coon up that tree.
I had to call it a night and didn't want to but carrying that big coon out not skinned is tough walking. I promised someone from work a fresh coon. Always a man of my word.

Sounder has shown to do an exceptional job alone.

Don't let the full Moon keep you home I sure don't!

Elmo, the more you walk in the cold the warmer that you will stay, I will take that over the moon any night. All we have is cold and snow, you stay home or you walk and stay warm. Have fun on the dance floor or where ever you go!

Hunted with Terry Estill tonight he had his Spud male of Uchtmans Thorn and Hank Tabers Lace female. He treed two big coon. Magic treed a den.
Love my new Laser Torch Pro light except it fell of my head and skidded on the ice in a deep lake. Luck I was hunting with Terry or I would have had to find my way back to the truck in the dark and get another light to get a branch to get this light on the thin ice
