Mailing through USPS - HUH???

Maybe I don't understand and perhaps the Letter Carrying coon hunters can chime in on this.

Same exact items shipped on same day at same time in Alabama. Here is a couple examples:

Priority Mail to Arkansas - 4 days
First Class Mail to Nevada - 2 days

Priority Mail to Virginia - 8 days
First Class Mail to Pennsylvania - 3 days

What is the point of PAYING MORE for Priority Mail when First Class is CHEAPER and faster????????

Perhaps that is why the USPS is in the shape they are now.

Go ask for ur $ money back.
Priority/1 class makes no difference to a driver, I'm takeing my days off!

Not to mention breakdowns of equiptment then it will be even longer.

As a long haul driver I haul both.
Main reason would be equipment breakdown!
I'll get it there be patient, but I would go and ask for the difference in $ back!
Well I got to haul the mail to the east coast , have a nice day!

save your money and send through UPS. Sent pup papers off 2x this summer. first 2 times never made it to ukc, or if they did they didn't make it to registration department.

4 months and 2 cancelled checks later i sent through ups spent $8 and had the papers there to ukc in 2 days, tracked the whole thing online and even got confirmation on who signed for the package and what time it arrived that thursday mornting.

I think priority 1st class is like $5 right? UPS is the way we will go from now on.

I have had problems with UPS on delivering to the wrong place. I have had very little problems with USPS. If it is important piece of mail or package you are shipping with the Postal service I always get "Delivery Confirmation" on my shipment. Its not that expensive and if the shipment is important enough to you its well worth it. It will also help you track it if you so desire or need to. Did you see the home security video of the FEDEX man delivering a computer screen to a customer. It was on a week or 2 ago. Point is there is going to problems with all of them at some point. I have had KC's claim they have not received checks or papers before and some other companies in my life of mailing and shipping things. No more claims of not recieving it for me with "Delivery Confirmation". It lets me know where that shipment is at and when it gets there.

Here's a reality check.
Relay driver will be delayed for what every reason.

What that means to the shipping public is u guessed it "mail delayed" priority/1st class etc. doesn't matter u ain't getting it when u think.
This is a reality people. USPS,UPS,FEDEX doesn't matter $%*+ happens out here on the roads that r out of our controll.
And with the south getting more snow than there accostomed to ,on their roads with drivers that have never seen/driven on it.
This is a drivers perspective only.
Now if the PDC has their equiptment failure thats another reason, that I'm not qualified to explain.
It's real easy to complain, doesn't take much especially if one is ignorant of the facts/reality of how things do and will go wrong.
