Mark Your Calendars / April 27th & 28th

Illinois State Championship a Purina Points Bench Show & Nite Hunt

Location: Elizabeth Illinois
Host Club; NorthWestern Illinois coon Hunters Assn

We will have 2 days of Bench Shows and Nite Hunts and both will be Purina Points events !!

Hwy 20 at the community building on west end of town located right off the hwy (Can't miss it)

Great Hunting and great food, so mark your calendars and we hope to see you there.

I'll have hotel info soon with rates for those attending the event.

14 miles east of Galena and 12 miles west of Stockton Illinois. If your looking at the state map look at the very top left hand corner and you'll find us hope to see you there

Good deal. This may throw a few northern hunters into the chase if they can scrounge up a couple early cast wins. Usually we are behind the 8 ball by the time the purina hunts get up north. Then again it probably wont make a difference.

With it being early in the year its our hope to get the midwest folks into the fray of the race and most of all have a nice event up in our area for all to attend !!

Once I've been told the entry fees I'll post them and hotels I'm working on right now but most rooms around here will be from $45 - $65 a night. We een have the Resort Chestnut Mnt a ski lodge taking our visitors and giving great rates on the rooms !! Its also a great place to stay and during the world hunt they offered the rooms at $50 a night.

ok thanks, i'm trying to figure out a way to make this trip. I hoping I can get a couple of friends together to go. Will there be trophies and such?

Yes full set of trophies and they are working on to see if they are going to be giving out high scoring breed trophies as well.

For those looking for a group room they also have a mini apartment with 3-4 beds and kitchen
Rates $50 - $65
