Took my little brother for his first hunt last night

It ain't his first hunt he's been with me a few times and loved it so I bought him a light and a nice young male for his b-day a couple days ago and last night he got to try it all out for the first time!! It was cold and misting last night we took his dog Tuck, and my female he wasn't suppose to be started or nothing so we just had to see for ourselves we cut them and he went out there and got deep with my female he was striking good Then my female located and got treed and he was treeing hard when we got there and to see the look on my lil bros face when he seen his dog was chopping away at that coon it was priceless! =) this boy is eat up with it now

Awesome for you to get your lil brother into the sport... the youth is the future of this sport, if they dont get into it our sport will die.

Im trying to be ill help him out with whatever he needs!! our dad or nobody else in our family coonhunts i was the first and i hope it stays in the family for years to come

cody you never said how old you were.But in my opinion you are or gonna be a fine man.Getting your little brother into hunting with you will create some of the best memories you will share with one another.your bond will be stronger than you will ever imagine as you grow older together.I commend you young man for setting a very good example for your younger brother.Any young boys or girls for that matter in the woods running dogs are going down the right path.Chasing hounds at night is alot better than running the streets getting into trouble and drinking and god only know what else.

Glad to hear your helping your little brother out. He'll always have these memories of y'all hunting together. I hope my kids stick with it threw their teenage yrs. I would much rather them come home at daylight from chasing a dog than to be riding around drunk. Keep up the good work you will be rewarded for it one day
