Well, I'm pretty much a tree hugger myself, but watching that I kept thinking just how **** funny it would have been for a coon to have run right through that group with about 8 dogs right after it baying to high heaven! : )

Posted by midnightbandits on 12-19-2011 04:26 AM:

LOL that would be something. But keep in mind those hippie tree huggers would not see us as tree huggers. We like the woods and have good time hunting in it but the other tree huggers just hate us hunters and our way of tree hugging

Holy Cow all that screaming would scare my dogs!

Posted by Bowhunter873 on 12-20-2011 12:21 AM:

WOW

They need to lay off the dope and go hunting.

I would drop the coon out right in their circle. Being a tree hugger is fine and wanting to save the pplanet and be green is great but that is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay to extreme for me.

we live in a capitalist society. why they don't make use of it i have no idea. simple..... you buy land and don't let anyone cut. how hard is that to figure out. they would rather bemoan what someone else does instead of looking in the mirror. that whole "eco" movement is rife with socialist and anti-christian opinion. they don't like the idea that humans can utilize the rest of nature as a resource and they don't like the fact that "the people" can't own all the land and then can instruct whom ever as to how it will or won't be used. the animal rights and eco movements have as much to do with left wing political thought as they do with caring about animals or nature.

JHA, you make a good point about the fact that they should buy land and keep it the way they want it. And, that is what some groups do. However, I would like to point out that "Christianity" has NOTHING to do with how one feels about Nature, use of land - or anything except the belief system of those who follow the teaching of those who say they spoke for Jesus Christ. (Since JC didn't write anything himself, and nothing was written about him until many years after his death).

Just saying... America is about freedom.

Actually you would be wrong.....

Christianity teaches to be a good steward of the land, appreciate and respect the gifts the Lord has given us.

So yes, that does have alot to do with how "one feels about nature and use of land"........Just sayin.

True, but a lot of other religions do AS good a job if not better.

No one religion has a stranglehold on how one views Mother Nature.

true. so I wonder how God feels about folks mocking those who are heart broke about the gifts that the Lord has given us being treated so callously.

For those who love to mock others in their moment of loss, FYI, when a grown man starts tearing up about the loss of his favorite hound you might want to keep your mouth shut.
It only takes years to train a good hound, it takes centuries to grow old growth forest.

My favorite when it comes to mocking adults who are grieving is "You tube, Giants fan in shambles". Not providing the link as it is full of foul language.
