A rare December treat in Michigan
It is really rare to get these temperatures in the middle of December in Michigan, but I will take them.
I hunted the pup last night for 2 hours and she managed to tree 5 coons. I harvested 4 for her. One coon actually treed in a duck box made by the DNR. The box was a mere 6 feet off the ground and Mr. Coon was safe inside. I left that one.
Anybody else hunt in the rain last night?

Amen Larry! The bird dogs have usually been put up by now. I've been up north the last two weekends hunting bare ground in a sweatshirt! Plenty of pats and a real blessing considering I'm hunting pups that need all the bird contact they can get.

What kind of dog is that on the right side of the dog box? Don't know much about bird dogs. Thanks.
Dec. hunting
Yes Larry I've been having some good nights lately since the warmup this week. Been doing alot of rig hunting with this Clover female. Treed some nice big coon. I hunted near the spots that I showed Todd to bird hunt.
