Soldier could sure use prayers

Most of you know my son is in Afganistan. So far he has been hit with 2 IED's one totaled the truck he was in and the other he was just lucky and had the truck between him and it both came close to killing him, got his camp ambushed while sleeping in a village and made it out of that unhurt other than scratches and took out a man that was throwing a grenade witch save them by a split second.
My son is a good man 23 he broke the all time record of showing up as a volunteer fireman/medic for the record of how many calls he made it to in a year. He will do anything to help anyone. He is a corporal and his C.O. has put him in for a purple heart and again for a silver star. They haven't been aproved yet.
He talked his doctor into releaseing him to go back out with his unit today. Seems like about every time they go out they get hit.
He is do to come home in Feb. we are getting close but seams like the closer it gets the more vilent it gets. So I sure could use extra prayers going his way.
His name is Dakota Joe Jarvis......................we will all apreciate all the prayers you can send and prayer lists you can get him on.

Prayers!!!

I used to be a nurse at the Canandaigua VA medical center... There were no acute care facility but all long term wards... I have even more respect for the men and woman who serve our country now then before I worked there!!!! It is a humbling job I loved every minute! I am looking into getting into Marion Indiana's VA this coming year and I hope to succeed in that adventure... Long story short I was not lucky enough to meet our younger generation or thank them for their services so please let him know he's got tons of support from the home front!!!! Big thanks and many prayers to him and his "company" let's bring them home safe!!!!

Many thanks to all for your prayers and kind wishes. It sure makes a heart good to see there are so many people that care. I some times tell people while in the barbers chair about a close encounter and some just laugh. Sure hard foe me not to slap them out of that chair. Thank You all and may God bless you.

His best buddy there just had to fly home to bury HIS father, a worcester firefighter who is being buried today ironically... a Heroic family indeed. SIGH...
