JUST SITTING HERE ON THIS SNOWY FRIDAY AND WONDERING WHAT EVERYONE BEEN DOING ? ANY BIG WINS IN EVENTS ? ANY NEW WORLD CHAMP LITTERS BEING BORN ? IS ANYONE STILL COONIN' IN THE SNOW ? REMINDER THAT THE STATE ASSOCIATION MEETING IS THIS SUNDAY AT THE LAPEER CLUB . IT WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE A GOOD TURN OUT FOR ELECTION OF OFFICERS . I THINK THE MEETING IS AT 1 PM.

CHRISTMAS SHOW IN BELLEVUE TOMORROW ALONG WITH TOYS FOR TOTS SHOW IN LAPEER ON SATURDAY AT 3PM.

Just doing the same. I had surgery on my shoulder and it is pretty much healed up. I have been hunting pretty regular until we got snow.

Hmmmm.... I haven't been hunting any, probably should. Misfit is going to forget all that she knew if I don't. I have been doing some conformation showing with a big nine month old pup I have. Just out trying something new, I'm sure I'll be back at all the coon hound events come spring. I'm fair weather participant. lol Happy Holidays to everyone!

Just busy! I could use a few more hours to each day and a couple more days a week.

My wife keeps telling me Christmas is just around the corner ... I keep telling her I got a month.

i have been hunting 4-5 nights a week, have not been to any events since the world, looks like the winter classic will be next. "ANY NEW WORLD CHAMP LITTERS BEING BORN", have a male pup who has 4 ukc world champs in 2 generations so hopefully he will be able to do something. sitting on the couch? i thought this was perfect weather for those black dogs! unable to make the show or meeting, heading out of town.

hunting has been dwindling down hitting more emptys and dens lately.......hoping things change quick its to early for that lol...not gonna hit any hunts until march...tweaking a year and a half old english female that should be ready this spring to do some winning

Just wanted to mention the Christmas Tree ornaments in a little Christmas gift box that was awarded (plus trophies) to the bench show winners at the Toys for Tots show at Lapeer ,Mi. yesterday.
Had the club initials M C H A and 2nd ANNUAL TOYS 4 TOTS BENCH SHOW and GRAND CHAMPION MALE
Each category had one and nicely down . Good job folks , something a little extra that fit in nicely with the season and the spirit.

We had a awesome time at the Bellevue Club~
There was a full kitchen of food (3 different turkeys,smoked , fried, baked, and all the fixens to go with it ) Desserts to much to mention it was a wonderful dinner put on by the club and the kids got to see SANTA they all got to enjoy getting a couple presents to open and visiting with Santa after dinner. They also had a kids bench show and gave out prizes to the kids.tThen to top it off a club member brought in arts n crafts and made ceramic tree ornaments with the kids and let them paint them themselfs They had prizes for the bench show winners and they also got there pics taken and framed 8x10 and taken home with them. Was a wonderful turn out with no empty seats in the kitchen area ! at one point we counted 49 people enjoying themselves

. When the server gets back up for the pics I will post them on here but right now its down . Hope to see you all next year
