when i was in texas.....i tried both for about 2 months each.....both just as good on keeping dogs in shape.....black bag,,,,just a lil less pooper scooping,,,,,,dogs were in off the ground kennels and that worked better...... less to clean up......cant find any close here in Va.

Blue is 26/18 and Black is 24/20.

I was just having this discussion yesterday. Me and another hunter were discusssing what is better all around to feed, 26/18 or 24/20.

I've fed both, haven't noticed much change in the mess. I'm wondering if one offers more energy to the dog versus the other for night after night hunting.

I use the 26/18 year round. If we are going hard, I add a scoop of K9 Super Fuel to it.

I would assume the one w the higher fat would also have the most energy............I been feeding the blue bag but think I will try Mr. Pollards lead and try the black for the winter..........what u pay for the black bag Dave ?

I recently went from Blue to Black and noticed marked improvements...i think they need a little extra fat this time of year.
