I just went through what your going through. I found it was easiest to start working with crate training during the day only, then after 1-1.5 weeks you can start to do nightly training.

Some people play hard-ball and force the crate training on the puppy as soon as they get it. I personally feel at that age they are going through a lot of changes and separation issues.

Those first few nights will still be painful, but usually after 2 weeks of being away from momma, they seem to handle the crate much better. The biggest thing is, if you start crate training then stick with it.

shes a puppy never use the cage unless your gone or have to go to bed put it this way there not learning anythingif they are in there cage!!!! always keep her out with you and take her to potty every 15 20 mins the more shes out of her cage and the more you spend time with her the faster shes gonna learn as far as your questioon she should grow out of crying in her cage take a shirt or blanet you have recently used thats has your scent and put it in her cage something about a fimilar scent that helps keep them calm
