LED heads

I tried searching for several minutes, couldn't find what I was looking for, so..... Here's another LED thread.

I have a 26V Pro Lite and I'm looking to get an LED head that will work for it as I'm tired of going thru $8 bulbs. I'm looking for something that will obviously work for the belt light I already have, and what heads people are having the best luck with. If anyone actually has the same light I have and have replaced the 5100 head that comes with it, that would be simply amazing to hear what you replaced it with.

Thanks.......

Brandon

There are a few heads that will work with it. I would get the Boss turbo with Cats eye in from Bruce Conkey 386-972-4937 he will put a LED swicth in your light for free if you buy the haed.

If you don't want to change anything on your light and you have a click switch, the valley creek head is the one to go with. The head is bright, the customer service is great, and you don't have to send your light in.

I do have the click switch. I'm thinkin of going with the 6 LED Blazer head, from what it looks like I wont have to change anything... Sure hope not!

Hey Brandon,
I don't think any of the led light heads come with a spot switch. I could be wrong. Don't know if that matters to you or not.
Also I've noticed that it seems any regular light over 21 volt eats bulbs. I still have the original bulb in my 21 volt. Going on four years now. Just to much juice for the bulb.
You could always get a 21 volt battery pack and just swap it out.

That makes sense. Weird part is they always blow on the low side. It decided to go last night when I was on the verge of going over my frog legs in a sink hole with a very upset coon coming my way. Very uneasy feeling when you feel yourself sinking and never feeling a hard spot under your feet.

That's some scary stuff there.

I just replaced my battery pack. The old one still worked. Just didn't seem to be as bright anymore. I'm going to see Aub Sat. I can give it to him and you can get it from him. It's your's if you want it. See if you pop a bulb with a 21V .

You don't have to send your light in if you don't want to for any head you just want have a real good low. If you want to make you light a 21 volt light just open you battery pack up and take 2 cells out it is not hard at all to do.

that will work and you can get one of these to carry in your pocket to blind the coon with so it will fall out of the tree so you dont have to shoot it,,takes 2-4 weeks to get them ,i use paypal to order my lights off ebay..

i replaced my bright eye 21v battery pack after six years last year and just got the 5 LED head from bright eyes and love it! got it quick too only two days

Bright Eyes

My 6 bulb head is bright , has turbo, and a 2 year warranty ...

They only thing I like about the Boss head with the cats eyes is it has built in lens covers, just flip the switch, but you have to pick what color you want when you buy it

Sorry to say the G2 isn't even in the ball park..

I like my Bright Eyes head and I don't even sell them....

I appreciate that. I would like to see if the 21V has better bulb life.

About as well as the money!!! LOL

I'd say if you blow bulbs with this pack. You may have a switch problem. At least this will give you a starting point.

WOW.
Where you sitting in the drive waiting for him to pull in??
I used to have a blue dog years ago. I inherited one. Stumpy was his name. Utchins breeding. 1 tree a night, then he was gone. Come back and pick him up in the morning. He was always there sleeping on my jacket. His nick name was the "Cannon" A real low booming voice.
He passed in 1999. He was 12. Wait. Weren't you 12 in 99?

Got the Blazer 6 LED head today. PLENTY bright, but there's not much difference in brightness between the clicks. It's either off or darn near full power. Will go hunting in a couple nights and play around with it and try some lens covers and see how they work with it.

If you want the most out of your head you should get a LED swicth put in your light.

I use a G2 head with my 21v bandit belt light. It came on a bump cap and a long cord also, for 260$ I got G2 head on bump cap with a battery and a long cord so I could still use the bandit. Haven't had any problems and couldn't ask for a brighter light.
