how to single register a pup

i am looking to find out how to single register a pup i got screwed over by the person i got my two female pups out of and he dident give me the papers. i have heard you can single register them so that they are still leagal dogs for compitition. anyone know how to go about doing this??

as far as i know you can't single register a pup must be able to tree a coon first then apply to breed association for a open reg. hope this helps

she is 6 months and will tree with older dogs, she is real hard on a caged coon. it is going to be a shame if she goes unregistered.

I think you will have to have a 3 generation pedigree as well when applying,,,,,,,,soon as the pup can strike and tree a coon by itself,,apply to the breed the dog is for single registration,,if the books are open for such they will send the papers. And then the pup will be inspected and then taken to the woods,,,,ive heard a master of hounds can go to the wood and witness that it can tree,,,,if you think the pup is worth it just take your time and follow the process .

first step must be able to run and tree a coon get that done first why go to trouble and money untill this step is done

For a Walker they want a known 3 gen ped.. In other words they don't want you to leave it blank..

But if you know what the dog is out of, all you have to do is put in the parent's UKC numbers.. It will still be single registered, but its pedigree will show..

I did that with one of my dogs.. The guy who owed the sire and dam never sent off the puppy papers on those dogs.. I just put in the UKC numbers on the grandparents and it gave me their pedigree on my dog's pedigree.. The parents were not shown as being registered.

I have a bluetick male thats a year old that wasnt registered and i know exactly what he is out of how would i go about getting him registered?
