Free Pair of Thompson Center (Hot Shot) 22 Cal rifles

OK, now that I have your attention, The Trimble Township Coon Hunters Club will be giving away two Thompson Center, (Hot Shot) single shot 22 cal. rifles. All you have to do to get them is come to Glouster, Ohio on Sat. 11/12/11 between 4:00 & 6:00 P.M. and enter our annual poundage coon hunt.

There will be 3 such hunts scheduled. first one will be Nov. 12, 2011. The second hunt will be December 10th, 2011. The third event is (TENTATIVELY) scheduled for Sat. January 7th, 2012. WEATHER PERMITTING!!!!!!!! If we have lots of snow on the 7th of January, all participants will be notified and the final hunt will be rescheduled to the following SAT, January 14th. This process will go on throughout the month of January until we get a a decent night to have our final hunt.

This is a buddy pound hunt so bring your best hunting buddy, and the best pair or individual- ENGLIGH, YEA!!!!, Walker, Bluetick, Plott, Redbone, Black & Tan, Leopard, Curr, or Treeing Pekinese you can find. Tree the two biggest coons you can find (on that night) bring them back to the clubhouse before 1:00 A.M. to have them officially weighed. And if after three of these type events, you have weighed in the most total weight of coons:

YOU MY FRIEND AND YOUR HUNTING BUDDY WILL EACH RECEIVE A 22 RIFLE AS I HAVE DESCRIBED ABOVE.

20.00 per team for the rifles only. Also included in this hunt is what we call a (Jar hunt) each team that wants to participate in the (Jar Hunt) will put $10.00 additional dollars, ($5.00 per person) into this jar. The team that brings in the two biggest coons each month, will get 75% of the money in the jar each month, the team that finishes second will get the remaining 25%. so that 100% of the jar money will be paid back to 1st & 2nd place, each month.

Total entry money PER PERSON each month would be $15.00

Yes we hope it will be fun for all. We plan to run it on three consecutive months in an attempt to crown the dogs that can get it done in all types of winter conditions. That being said, I sure wouldn't want to have to tree coons in January in Iowa as I'll bet the snow gets really deep where you are at during that time of the year. LOL!!

Man I hear Ya Joe, My two little Ole coons weighed (I think) 25.6 lbs. I'm in 8th place going into December. I better drag out the ironing board and get Ole Gun to take a good hard look at how big a coon I need to fill that board. Then when I cut him loose he should have a big-uun LOL!!
