Hickory Nut Harry question

I've heard of Ball's Stylish Hickory Nut Harry, out of Hayes. But wasn't there another Hickory Nut Harry earlier? How was he bred? Are the two even related. I'd like to know more about the earlier one.

The more recent one was Stylish Hickory Nut Harry. The original one was just Hickory Nut Harry. He was off Owen's Hardwood Bozo if I'm not mistaken.

I believe Ball's Hickory Nut Harry was off Merchants Bawling Barney and a bitch off Hersbergers Oklahoma Spot.

Stylish Harry was off Hard Knockin Stylish Hays.
And no, I don't think they are related.

See in this old AD where it say Ball's Stylish Hickory Nut Harry is double old Ball's Hickory Nut Harry. That comes from Bozo the best stud out of old harry or the one that you see on most of todays papers back in there is Bozo.
