hound pup in texas?

Hello guys, i'm looking for a red tick or plott puppy. It's gonna be raised in the house and used for blood trailing. Parents must be hunters and cold nosed. Anybody got anything like this for sale?

I had hog dogs for 8 years and sold out 2 years ago. Looking forward to working with a pup again.

Thanks
Brandon

I got a 4 month old Leopard pup when his grandaddy got full grown I used him for that because I was scared of messing him up younger. He just took it as part of hs job and never got after regular deer even after that. But first I would suggest you just get any kind of a yard dog and strap a 75$ GPS unit on his collar and stick his nose in the blood and sic him. He might come out in a few minuites but then take the track to where it doubles back hard and go there and find your deer . No leashes through brair patch H involved. If you need one to blood trail and bay a dead one, I would suggest you get a Lab and train it . About half of them will stay and bay for a while.

Beagle or jag terrior. I don't know what part of Tex. you are in but Kim and Klyde Watson in Jacksborrow can send you in the right direction for a lot of differant breeds of dogs. They have put a search and rescue seminare on there twice a year for a lot of years. Some of the best dog trainer in the country have taught class's there.
Glen Remby use to help with the blood hound class's and he has worked blood hounds amoung others on high profile cases all over the country. Jerry Yelk (another big name) in the hound world allso teaches there or did. I don't know if I still have there phone number but you can do a search on Texas search and rescue and it should give you a link to T.A.S.K. that is the org. they run.
They can allso show you how to teach the dog to stand and bark or come back to you and lead you to the dear or what ever.

With one more step in the training you can allso have it tracking anything you give it the scent of. If when you get your dog and want to p.m. me and I will tell you how to have it following blood scent or any other in just a few minutes and you can do it sitting on your but in the house.
