Any Insurance agents out there?
I have been doing a coon hunt now for the past 2 years for critically ill children through USSA (childswish.com) and the State of Illinois has been wonderful about waving hunting licenses opening up a refuge etc. I n the past they have not required any ins etc and do not for the deer hunts but in their infinate wisdom they have required a million dollar liablity ins premium and I am having great dificulty finding a company that wil write such a policy. This is a great casue and lets these kids see our sport and I would hate to lose it any help would be greatly apreciated.

They did the same thing if you had an organized trail riding event on state ground. A friend of mine holds a ride in April and October and has for 40 years. A couple of years back, the moron that runs Sand Ridge Forest told him that he had to have the $1M policy if it was an organized ride.
So, we just disorganized. Everybody still showed, everybody still rode, and amazingly everyone went the same direction

Insurance
Are you looking for an event policy (good only for the time that you hold the event) or a year long policy?
You can email me privately if you like. I no longer sale insurance, but I still work in the business and specialized at one time in non-profits and human services
