I had a good Ladner cur once a few years back.

He was a very good hunting/family dog. Silent on track and had a loud chop on the tree. He was fast on the track and would usually tree the coon ahead of the hounds I hunted with.

He would tree coon at night and squirrels in day time. He also killed every snake he came across, lol.

If your looking for a hunting BMC, Joey Hutson out of West Monroe, La. is who you need to talk to.

You'll want either a Ladner, Lott or Lee bred dog.
Easier to find a Ladner bred dog than the others. All 3 lines are bred to be tree dogs.
Joey sold out his BMCs and went to Walkers.

I raise hunting stock BMC's.
And yes we have had some black/tan and even some solid
black BMC's.
We are kind of sticklers about raising true old fashion pioneer
type BMC's.
We have some pups on the ground right now. And another litter
on the way.
If you have any questions please feel free to give me a call
(217)690-2900. I'll try to help you out in any way that I can.
I don't like to bragg on our BMC's. But you can check us out
on www.gundogbreeders.com and see what other folks are saying about our BMC's.
When you go to that website just click on the state of Illinois.
We are K-Bar-K Kennels. We are at the top of the page.
Thank you and God Bless Your Family
Bro. Kevin Knierim

So he was on here promoting The Treeing Blackmouth Cur Association in Sept. and now don't even have a BMC. Is he still the Vice-President? Whats that all about?

I took over the Lott line completely in 94. Some of my dogs go to James Lee's breeding too.
Call or come for a hunt if you like.

Paul Hillis is in (I believe) East Texas and has some dandy tree dogs of the Ladner line. He may still have a pup left from his last cross that was grand-sired by Hutson's Ol' Bandit. You can see Bandit in a full page ad in the last Full Cry. He's a fair size dog and covers all the ground most men want to. Paul and Joey Hutson will both shoot straight about what they have and what they've made in pups. You can get ahold of Paul at 903-276-9902 or look at his website at www.hillisblackmouthcurs.com. I haven't tried the website lately, but suppose it's still there.

Get ahold of Bob Owens of Eustice TX or David Rigney of Terrell TX. They have the best of the best when it comes to BMC Hog dogs.
Bob goes by BIG O & David goes by SKOLLBANDIT on some of the hog dog message boards.
