Good Hunt
The day started out pretty good I loaded up Echo and headed out for a round. Right off she hooked up and had the meat. The squirrel was timbering and Echo was on her hind legs watching it while I was in the process of shooting it. I have never seen a dog get on its hind legs like that and follow a squirrel. Next around 9:30 pm loaded up Cry for a coon hunt. Made a couple of drops with noaction then on the last drop Cry struck a track and off they went the coon bailed out treeing next in a big pine. I had on my amber lens cap so the coon was looking and I shot at the eyes and heard a thud and Cry was really barking and off she went the coon had bailed out again. Next Cry put it up a oak where I could see the whole coon so I shot hit the coon and the coon bailed out again this time Cry got ahold of it and I got over there and told Cry to back off and then I was able to end the thing. Cry was more than happy to back off as the coon balled up on her head. Beedless to say Cry was tired after all that action so when we got home she went right to bed. The coon was a good sized one and may have been run before I think.

"TREE DOGS ARE BORN NOT MADE"
Nice hunt, most of your small coons equal our big ones.
