CLONE Tennessee

Does anyone know anything about this collection and frozen semen storage facility located just east of Nashville?

I think they are in Gordonsville, TN. I don't know how far that is from Smithville.

They seem to have CLONE's all over the US. I looked through this list and there is several of the CLONES on it.

http://forums.ukcdogs.com/showthrea...lection+georgia

I also google it and they seem to have offices in Europe as well.

It seems pretty legit. There are a few places around I have looked into that do the collection, but doesnt make me confident in them. If you look how big CLONE is and the fact its world wide it might be the best thing for us southeners to use.

Try it out or you could just go with tried and true..but its a long way from GA. But if I had a dog like Boomer I would be looking for the best. CLONE seems pretty established. Let us know how it goes if you try em out.

Even have a Facebook..might be the most info you can find on them and there sucess on it..

I just heard back from them. They sound like a very nice operation and the costs appear very reasonable....

$375 for bloodwork, collection, evaluation, processing, and storing for one year. Then its $100/year for storage. The price is the same no matter how many straws he produces. Price includes $5,000 insurance on the the stored straws.

The facility in gordonsville is in my hometown. I have heard a few good things about the place. If not mistaken I belive Ashley Hopkins uses this place. I have taken my hounds there in the past for minor medical checkups and such The folks there are nice but seemed to be geared alittle more towards house and lap dogs for my taste and are a bit pricey compared to he other vets in the area.

Clone Tennessee

qI use this Vet and store semen here, she is a excellent vet the best I have found. they are a great bunch of people to work with. Dr Adams is a repro expert and ships semen all over the world. Her avg of high litter counts on dogs with little to no chance of having pups is higher than the national avg. I highly recommend them to anyone looking.

I have been using her now since 2009 and we go no where else. we drive a hour to get to her. I have been in the lobby when people have wanted to transfer their semen from the one in smithville to her. I have heard nothing but horror stories about the one in smithville. I would not take anything there.

I have never been to the one in smithville but have met at least 10 people in the last month who have told me really bad stuff about them. not worth the risk to me even though he is closer to me. I will drive for the kind of quality service i get from Dr Adams and her staff
