mine has never ever failed me but i cant speak for every body else but mine has saved me a lot of migranes it does not matter if the leaves are on or off it works just like its suppose to

Very Solid Unit. Just make sure you adjust the range slowly. Sometimes it will point in the opposite direction nearly as strong as the correct direction.

Had one before I got my garmin and it worked just fine for me. Never had a minutes worth of trouble out of it with the exception of one place in particular and it would beep in every direction equally but then again so did my buddys wildlife. Everywhere else though, it worked like a charm. Dont think you will be disappointed although it does take a lil more getting use to than a wildlife or quicktrack.
